STARS + HONEY: Head of Consumer Experience

ROLE OVERVIEW

Stars + Honey is a fast-growing functional nutrition brand on a mission to eliminate compromise in health and indulgence. Our products deliver joyful flavor and clean functionality, making everyday wellness feel like a treat rather than a trade-off.

As we enter our next phase of growth — scaling from a strong DTC foundation into national retail — we are seeking a Head of Consumer Experience to build and lead a best-in-class consumer experience function.

This role is critical to:

  • Delivering an exceptional consumer experience across every touchpoint
  • Increasing consumer loyalty, repeat purchase, and advocacy
  • Protecting and strengthening the Stars + Honey brand reputation
  • Turning consumer feedback into actionable business insights
  • Building scalable systems and processes that support rapid growth

This leader will own the end-to-end consumer experience strategy and operations across DTC, Amazon, and retail support channels, ensuring every interaction reflects the premium, joyful, and consumer-first experience that defines Stars + Honey.

This role reports to the Chief Brand & Commercial Officer.

IMPACT OF THIS ROLE

As Director of Consumer Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping how consumers experience Stars + Honey across every stage of their journey.

  • You will build the systems, processes, and standards that ensure consumers receive thoughtful, timely, and effective support while helping the organization learn from every interaction.
  • You will own the consumer experience from first purchase through repeat purchase, ensuring that every question, concern, product issue, and moment of delight strengthens trust in the brand.
  • You will serve as the voice of the consumer internally, partnering closely with Brand, Growth, Sales, Operations, and Product Development to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve the overall consumer experience.

This is a unique opportunity to build a consumer experience function that not only supports consumers, but strengthens loyalty, drives advocacy, and contributes meaningfully to long-term brand growth.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

1. Consumer Care Operations

Own and elevate the day-to-day consumer experience across all channels:

  • Manage consumer support across email, website, social media, Amazon, and retail-related inquiries
  • Establish service standards, response time expectations, and escalation protocols
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and response playbooks
  • Ensure all consumer interactions reflect the Stars + Honey brand voice and values
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience while increasing operational efficiency

Success = fast response times, exceptional service, and consistently positive consumer experiences.

2. Consumer Satisfaction & Service Excellence

Build a consumer experience function that consumers genuinely love interacting with:

  • Establish and monitor key consumer experience KPIs
  • Track and improve response times, resolution rates, satisfaction scores, and recurring issues
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and coaching
  • Identify friction points and implement improvements
  • Create systems that make it easy for consumers to get the help they need

Success = stronger consumer satisfaction, fewer service issues, and increased consumer loyalty.

3. Reviews, Reputation & Brand Advocacy

Protect and strengthen the Stars + Honey brand across every consumer touchpoint:

  • Monitor consumer sentiment across reviews, social channels, and support interactions
  • Own review management across Amazon, DTC, and key retail partners
  • Identify recurring themes and partner cross-functionally to address root causes
  • Build systems that encourage ratings, reviews, referrals, and advocacy
  • Help turn satisfied consumers into passionate brand ambassadors

Success = stronger brand sentiment, increased positive reviews, and growing consumer advocacy.

4. Voice of Consumer & Insights

Serve as the voice of the consumer throughout the organization:

  • Collect and analyze feedback from support channels, reviews, surveys, and social conversations
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and recurring pain points
  • Develop recurring Voice of Consumer reporting for leadership
  • Translate consumer feedback into actionable recommendations
  • Partner with Brand, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to improve products, experiences, and communications

Success = consumer insights directly influence business decisions and help drive continuous improvement.

5. Consumer Recovery & Escalation Management

Own resolution of complex consumer issues and ensure challenging situations become opportunities to build trust:

  • Manage escalated service issues and product-related concerns
  • Partner with Operations and Quality teams to investigate product feedback and complaints
  • Develop consumer recovery programs and service recovery best practices
  • Create clear communication frameworks for handling sensitive situations
  • Success = consumers leave even difficult interactions feeling heard, valued, and confident in the brand.

6. Systems, Technology & Scalability

Build the infrastructure needed to support rapid growth:

  • Own consumer experience platforms and tools
  • Improve workflows, automation, and reporting capabilities
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into performance and consumer trends
  • Manage external consumer care agencies and partners
  • Build systems that scale as the business continues to grow

Success = scalable infrastructure that supports exceptional service without sacrificing quality.

7. Team & Partner Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing consumer experience team
  • Manage external partners and agencies
  • Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations
  • Foster a consumer-first mindset across the organization

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (First 6–12 Months)

Operations Genesys Platform Program Lead at Chime

Leads the Genesys Cloud CX platform migration and ongoing operations, owning architecture decisions, vendor relationships, governance, and continuous improvement across the contact center platform.

Lead Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the role

Chime is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in our member support history by migrating our enterprise contact center to Genesys Cloud CX. We are seeking a Genesys Platform Lead to serve as the internal authority for this platform: ensuring the migration lands correctly and the platform continues to operate at its best long after launch. This is not a build-and-hand-off engagement; the role serves as an ongoing “watchtower” – accountable for correct configuration, rigorous governance, and continuous improvement.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $138,000.00 and up to $190,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own the solution architecture for Genesys Cloud CX — defining how it’s configured, integrated with our CRM, WFM, bots, and identity systems, and governed so complexity doesn’t quietly accumulate over time.
  • Be the internal reviewer for every significant architectural decision made by our Systems Implementer and Managed Services Provider, validating that what gets built actually aligns with Chime’s standards and long-term operating model.
  • Lead our most complex Genesys initiatives — from new AI platform integrations to major IVR redesigns — translating business and CX requirements into technically sound platform designs and keeping delivery tracks aligned across Engineering, SI, and MSP.
  • Own the Genesys vendor relationship on behalf of Operations & Member Experience: managing partner performance to contract and SLAs, escalating issues when needed, and representing Chime’s operational priorities to influence the Genesys product roadmap.
  • Drive platform effectiveness through data — measuring utilization and feature adoption, identifying optimization opportunities, and building a continuous improvement roadmap that improves routing performance, cost efficiency, and operational resilience.
  • Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) governance as the platform technical authority, ensuring changes are architecturally sound before release and partnering with the PMO/Change/Governance team to keep things well-sequenced and safe to deploy.
  • Build institutional knowledge that outlasts any one vendor or individual — through documentation, runbooks, and architecture decision records that keep Chime genuinely independent in how we operate this platform.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 5+ years of experience in contact center platform operations, architecture, or technical program management — you’ve been in the weeds on real deployments, not just advised from the sidelines.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of Genesys Cloud CX, including Architect (IVR/flow design), ACD routing, queue management, skills-based routing, and platform administration.
  • A track record of holding SIs or MSPs accountable — you know how to manage vendor relationships against contracts and SLAs, and you’re comfortable escalating when commitments aren’t being met.
  • Strong solution architecture skills: you think in integration patterns, governance frameworks, and technical standards, and you know how to design for the long term rather than just solving the problem in front of you.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-workstream technical programs with third-party implementers — you can keep dependencies untangled and prevent the kind of silent integration failures that only surface at go-live.
  • The ability to move fluidly between deep technical design and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders — translating architectural tradeoffs into language that lands with business and CX leaders.
  • Bonus points for: Genesys Cloud CX Architect Certification; experience with CCaaS migrations; familiarity with Zendesk, NICE IEX, Okta/SCIM, or bot/AI integrations; background in financial services or regulated industries; or experience with Terraform-based Genesys configuration.

Location: Hybrid / San Francisco, CA

What’s the role?

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to act as the technical anchor for a small, focused team working on Data and ML infrastructure. Your work will directly support large-scale machine learning applied to precision healthcare.

This is a highly technical, player-coach role. You will set the architectural vision and guide the day-to-day technical execution of the team, remaining deeply hands-on in the codebase. Whether you are already a seasoned tech lead or a Staff Individual Contributor (IC) ready to step up and guide a sub-team of engineers, this position gives you the platform to lead technically.

This is a full-time position operating on a hybrid schedule out of our San Francisco office.

What’s this team like at Heartflow?

We build Data & ML infrastructure to simplify developing, evaluating, and deploying algorithms on massive medical imaging datasets. Our team owns critical platforms across the stack: data systems focused on curation and analytics, as well as our core ML environment for both training and inference.

We design our infrastructure to not just be highly performant, but also easy to use. We are proponents of self-serve interfaces and robust user documentation. Our team tackles challenging problems using first-principles thinking, and we greatly value the ability to break down complex architectural challenges into digestible, well-communicated solutions.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Act as the technical lead and mentor for a small, high-impact team of engineers, guiding system design, conducting code reviews, and unblocking technical hurdles.
  • Write high-performance Python code and utilize frameworks like Ray to architect and maintain large-scale distributed computing platforms for ML training and evaluation.

Engineer Head of Engineering at Freddie's Flowers

Head of Engineering owns technology strategy, leads a high-performing engineering team, establishes system architecture, and drives AI integration across the product and business.

Lead Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Freddie’s Flowers was founded by Freddie Garland in October 2014 with one ambition: to change people’s relationship with flowers. We believe flowers aren’t only for grand occasions, but they make every day special, inspiring creativity and sparking joy.

Our starting point was our direct-to-consumer subscription model, helping us grow a loyal UK following. We launched in Germany in 2020, and then in 2021 we secured significant backing from The Craftory, a like-minded purpose-led global investment house, helping us expand, develop and grow. 2023 saw us start our gifting service – bringing the best of Freddie’s Flowers to everyone who needs it (even last minute!).

From the seed of an idea we continue to flourish; we’re now a B Corp organisation. And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.

The Opportunity

Technology is the operating system of this business. Every customer interaction and every commercial decision flows through it. The goal is to make that operating system fast, reliable, and commercially intelligent. To make engineering the function that enables growth, not the one that responds to it.

The strategic direction is set and board-backed. The Head of Engineering owns its execution and will shape what good looks like in practice. That means ensuring a high-performing team, establishing the architecture that will carry the business through its next stage, and creating the conditions for engineering to operate as a genuine partner with a seat at the table when commercial decisions are made.

There is material commercial upside that has not yet been realised. Partnering with the Commercial function around customer data that could sharpen targeting and improve retention offers a significant opportunity. Demand forecasting, pricing optimisation, and AI integration across the product are further opportunities requiring ownership & delivery. This role has the mandate and the board visibility to pursue all of it.

What You Will Do

– Own the technology strategy end-to-end and deliver against measurable milestones

– Set the bar for a high-quality engineering team across hiring, standards, culture

– Establish engineering as a product partner, shaping the commercial roadmap as well as executing it

– Make the architecture and infrastructure decisions that will carry the business forward

– Lead the AI integration agenda across the product and the wider business

– Represent technology at leadership level with clarity and commercial authority

What We Need

– Scaled engineering in a DTC or subscription business. You know what breaks under real commercial pressure

– Hands-on technical depth: AWS-native, comfortable with architecture decisions, capable of writing production code when it matters

– Has hired engineers and built teams before

– Commercially literate. Frames technology in terms of cost, risk, and revenue, and is comfortable in a board conversation

– Motivated by what gets shipped and what it delivers, not the sophistication of the solution

Why Take This Role

– Full ownership: you are leading this team and this function. The architecture, the hiring, the standards. All yours, from day one

– A brand worth building for: Freddie’s has a genuine founder story, a loyal subscription customer base, and a floristry-first identity that sets it apart in a crowded market

– Commercial impact at scale: the data asset, the AI agenda, the shift to a mixed subscription and gifting model. There is material commercial upside for a technology leader who executes well

– Board visibility: you sit in the leadership team, report to the CGO, and have direct access to the people making the strategic decisions

– A real brief with backing to match: the strategic direction is agreed, the investment is committed, and the mandate is clear. This is not a role where you spend six months working out what to do

  • Option to buy extra holiday days
  • Discounted flowers for friends/family
  • WFH (where applicable)
  • Learning and Development Support
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Cash plan with Medicash
  • Health and wellbeing sessions with The Mind Clinic
  • Team socials and events

Inclusion:

Freddie’s Flowers recognises our success is dependent on the success of our people. Freddie’s Flowers is committed to creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce where everyone feels safe and valued. All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.

Together, we can help shape the endless possibilities of AI.

Location: Hybrid—Santa Clara, CA headquarters, 3–5 days/week onsite

Team: Kernels | Reports to: Engineering Manager, Kernels

Cross-functional interface: QA / Test Engineering

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Test & Validation – AI Kernels to embed within our Kernels team and own the quality engineering function for our AI compute software stack. You will design and build the test infrastructure, validation frameworks, and automated verification pipelines that ensure correctness, performance, and reliability of software kernels running on next-generation AI hardware. You will serve as the primary quality interface between the Kernels team and the broader QA organization, driving alignment on test strategy, coverage, and release readiness.

This is a high-impact, deeply technical role that requires both strong software engineering skills and a rigorous quality mindset. You will work alongside compiler engineers, ML software engineers, and hardware architects while partnering closely with QA leads to define standards and share best practices across the company.

What You Will Do

Test Infrastructure & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for kernel validation across simulation, emulation, and silicon targets.

  • Develop correctness and performance regression suites covering ML operators (GEMMs, convolutions, BLAS, SIMD ops, softmax, layer norm, pooling, etc.).

  • Implement testing pipelines integrated into CI/CD workflows, enabling rapid feedback on kernel changes.

  • Build tooling to automate comparison of kernel outputs against reference implementations (e.g., CPU-based golden references, PyTorch/TensorFlow baselines).

Kernel & Hardware Validation

  • Develop test coverage for software kernels targeting specialized hardware including AI accelerators, DSPs, FPGAs, and SIMD vector processors (e.g., Tensilica).

  • Validate numerical precision, edge cases, and boundary conditions for ML operators across data types and hardware configurations.

  • Partner with hardware teams (mixed signal, DSP, CPU) to validate hardware-software co-design assumptions and catch integration issues early.

  • Drive validation of compiler-generated code paths (MLIR, LLVM, TVM, etc.) through structured test methodologies.

QA Partnership & Process

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Kernels engineering team and the QA organization, aligning on test plans, coverage criteria, and release qualification gates.

  • Participate in QA planning ceremonies; represent Kernels team needs and surface quality risks early.

  • Contribute to and help maintain shared QA infrastructure, test standards, and reporting dashboards used across engineering.

  • Drive root cause analysis for test failures and escaped defects; work with Kernels engineers to close gaps.

Technical Leadership

  • Set quality standards and best practices for the Kernels team; mentor engineers on testability design and defensive coding.

  • Contribute to design reviews with a quality lens, identifying areas that require additional validation before tape-out or release.

  • Influence test strategy across the full software stack: from unit and integration tests to system-level validation on target hardware.

What You Will Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field with 6+ years of industry experience; or MS with 4+ years of experience; or PhD with 2+ years of experience, with at least 2 years focused on test engineering, SDET, or quality engineering roles.

  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and machine learning fundamentals, sufficient to reason about correctness and performance of ML kernels.

  • Proficient in C/C++ and Python; experience writing production-quality test code in these languages in Linux environments.

  • Experience writing automated tests for algorithms targeting specialized hardware such as GPUs, DSPs, FPGAs, or AI accelerators (e.g., using CUDA or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with ML operators commonly used in production workloads: GEMMs, convolutions, BLAS, SIMD operations, softmax, layer normalization, pooling, and similar.

  • Experience building or working within CI/CD pipelines and automated regression systems.

  • Track record of owning quality outcomes, not just executing tests but defining strategy, coverage, and release readiness criteria.

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills; comfortable working across hardware and software teams and representing quality concerns to non-QA stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience embedded in a hardware-adjacent software team (AI accelerator company, cloud compute, or similar) rather than a purely software QA role.

  • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, including the ability to write reference implementations for operator validation.

  • Familiarity with ML compiler toolchains (MLIR, LLVM, TVM, Glow, etc.) and how to test compiler-generated artifacts.

  • Experience with embedded SIMD vector processors such as Tensilica.

  • Prior startup or small-team experience; comfort operating with high ownership and limited process overhead.

  • Experience defining and implementing formal test plans and coordinating release qualification with a QA organization.

Why This Role

You will have a direct impact on the correctness and quality of AI compute software that ships in next-generation hardware products. As the first Staff SDET on the Kernels team, you will build quality infrastructure from the ground up and establish practices that will scale with the organization. You will work with some of the best compiler and kernel engineers in the industry, with the unique vantage point of sitting at the intersection of hardware and software quality.

Project Management Manager, Engineering, Secure Build at Docker, Inc

Engineering manager leads a senior infrastructure team building Docker's secure container build systems and CI/CD platforms while staying hands-on with technical design and code.

Lead Remote Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world’s largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.

We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.

The Secure Build team builds and operates the infrastructure behind Docker’s container builds. The team owns and runs Docker Build Cloud and Docker’s Hub build systems, which run millions of builds a year for hundreds of organisations, and is building the next generation of that: secure, sandboxed CI that isolates each build step and produces hardened images with strong, verifiable provenance, including for customers in regulated and air-gapped environments. A current focus is a hardened build runner that executes each workflow step inside its own micro-VM sandbox.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead this team. It’s a small, very senior group that recently came together, with strong technical leadership spread across it. You’ll own the team’s delivery, growth, and operational excellence, keep its high-scale production systems healthy, and be a real part of setting the team’s technical direction alongside the engineers who lead on different parts of the system.

The kind of person we’re looking for

The successful candidate leads first. They’re an experienced engineering manager at their best turning a senior team into a high-performing, value-delivering part of the wider Docker org: getting the process and team mechanics right, partnering well with Product, and navigating the personalities on and around the team. What sets them apart is that they stay deep in the technical work rather than steering from a distance. They’re active in technical design and in the PRs, they help shape the technical direction, and they’re happy to pick up code where it moves things forward. We’re not after a 50-50 player-coach, and we’re not after someone who’s left the engineering behind either; the balance tilts to leading, but they’re hands-on enough to be properly in the detail with the team. The team has strong technical leadership across it, and direction is set together rather than by any one person, so this isn’t about being the best engineer in the room or the deepest supply-chain-security expert. It’s about being engaged and credible enough to be a real part of how the team sets its direction, not standing apart from it. They care about security broadly: how modern attacks actually work, the OWASP Top 10, and where a build pipeline is exposed. They lead through judgement, unblocking, and direction-setting rather than process for its own sake, because that’s what a senior, autonomy-heavy team responds to. They’re comfortable owning the operational reality of production systems and on-call, and they’re energised rather than thrown by ambiguity. Above all they care about growing the engineers around them and shipping something customers actually trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of senior engineers operating Docker Build Cloud and Hub’s build systems and building Docker’s next generation of secure build infrastructure.

  • Own delivery: turn an ambiguous, high-stakes roadmap, including time-bound commitments to regulated and federal customers, into a concrete plan the team can execute predictably.

  • Get the team’s process and mechanics right, and partner closely with Product to turn strategy into a roadmap the team believes in.

  • Stay deep in the technical work: active in design discussions and code review, hands-on in the code where it helps, rather than steering from a distance.

  • Be a real part of setting the team’s technical direction, working with the engineers who lead on different parts of the system, while giving the whole team room to own technical decisions.

  • This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

  • Be accountable for the reliability and operational excellence of the team’s production services, including a healthy, humane on-call rotation.

  • Own the growth, development, and performance of each engineer on the team, and hire to strengthen it.

  • Work across the wider org - Product, sales, commercial and legal, the Hub/registry team, and security - to align the team and shield it from churn.

  • Hold a high bar for engineering excellence and raise the team’s security hygiene.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams, including engineers at or above their own level of technical seniority, with a track record of growing and retaining senior individual contributors.

  • 8+ years of professional, hands-on, full-time software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, or platform engineering.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • A leader first: strong on team process and mechanics, on partnering with Product, and on reading and navigating the personalities on and around a team to make it more than the sum of its parts.

  • Comfortable inheriting a team they didn’t build: earning the trust of experienced engineers, and owning the full range of performance conversations, including the difficult ones, fairly and directly.

  • Technically deep and still hands-on: recent enough engineering chops to be active in design and code review, be a real part of setting technical direction with the team, and write code where it helps. Not the best engineer in the room or the deepest domain expert, but not a manager who’s left the technical detail behind either.

  • A strong interest in security: how recent attacks have actually worked, the OWASP Top 10, and the build threat model. Familiarity with software supply chain security (SLSA, in-toto, provenance, signing such as cosign, SBOMs, vulnerability scanning) is valued, but we care more about security instinct and appetite than a checklist of tools.

  • Understanding of CI/CD and build-system internals, container images and image hardening, and OCI registry mechanics.

  • Experience operating production infrastructure: on-call, incident response, SLOs, and the realities of keeping high-traffic services healthy.

  • Comfortable leading a distributed, remote-first team across European and US time zones, with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, and a habit of staying close to customers.

  • Hands-on familiarity with Go is a plus; it’s the team’s primary language.

What to expect

First 30 days

Get to know the team, the systems, and the commitments before changing anything. Build relationships with each engineer, understand the roadmap and what the team is building, and get hands-on enough with Build Cloud and the inherited systems to understand the on-call load you’re taking on.

First 90 days.

Own the delivery plan with the team and Product. Get the on-call rotation to a healthy, sustainable place. Be the team’s point of contact across the wider org.

One year Outlook

The team is delivering against its roadmap and operating its production systems reliably, the on-call and delivery cadence are sustainable, and the team is growing both in capability and in number.

Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.

Perks

  • Freedom & flexibility; fit your work around your life

  • Designated quarterly Whaleness Days plus end of year Whaleness break

  • Home office setup; we want you comfortable while you work

  • 16 weeks of paid Parental leave (after 6 months of employment)

  • Technology stipend equivalent to $100 USD net/month

  • PTO plan that encourages you to take time to do the things you enjoy

  • Training stipend for conferences, courses and classes

  • Equity; we are a growing start-up and want all employees to have a share in the success of the company

  • Docker Swag

  • Medical benefits, retirement and holidays vary by country

  • Remote-first culture, with offices in Seattle and Paris

Docker embraces diversity and equal opportunity. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our company will be.

  • Spearhead the deployment of complex ML algorithms into highly available, scalable cloud environments, ensuring models run efficiently in production.
  • Design and integrate robust cloud-data systems to manage the lifecycle of massive, unstructured medical datasets.
  • Work cross-functionally with researchers and engineers to understand how they develop models, using that understanding to solve their ML training, serving, and production monitoring needs.
  • Responsibly and securely utilize AI-powered development tools (like coding assistants or LLMs) to accelerate the team’s engineering workflows.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on ML infrastructure, distributed systems, or MLOps.
  • A history of mentoring peers and leading technical projects, and an excitement to act as the technical anchor for a small team of engineers.
  • Ability to write clear, well-tested, and scalable code, with high proficiency in Python.
  • Deep understanding of modern distributed computing architectures and how to optimize heavy compute and cloud-data workloads (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., CDK, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with modern distributed computing frameworks and table formats like Ray, Kubernetes, and Apache Iceberg.
  • Knowledge of cross-language bindings for high-performance computing (e.g., C++/Python).
  • Prior experience in the healthcare domain, highly-regulated environments, or handling image-based algorithms is a huge plus.

Salary Range: $190,000 - $250,000 base, plus cash bonus and equity.
